Our authentic composite applications are now drawing the attention of the industrial composite sectors and with the increase in demand for our products, CCI is very pleased to announce the sale of its drag racing assets to Velocity Composites, a division of Tim McAmis Performance Parts of Hawk Point, Missouri USA effective immediately.   The president of CCI, Tim Hodgins, while delighted, is also reflective when asked about the conclusion of the sale, saying "Looking forward, I think Tim McAmis Performance Parts and Velocity Composites are better positioned for production and distribution, whereas my real strength and interest is in creating new bodies and new composite products. This deal is a win - win for both of us." Hodgins explained. "Being in a different country has always added cost to buying our products and with Cynergy recently landing a Canadian Aerospace Composites Contract, it was time to start a new chapter. Many thanks to our loyal customers and friends; I really appreciate the support over the years. I love the sport of drag racing and plan to stay very involved, just in a different capacity."   Tim McAmis' satisfaction was evident when he had this to say about the transaction, "The acquisition of these assets is a natural lead in to the expansion already taking place within Velocity Composites.
